Mr. Farouk:
There are many resources for gas compressor stations, depending on your specific
requirements. Any compressor station design would have to start with good
engineering principles for the piping systems. Beyond this, you start to
encounter specialized systems: gas cleaning, possible gas processing to improve
quality, the actual compressor facility, possible gas cooling, discharge
separation, and measurement and regulation facilities. Each of these will have
its own specialization.
For a general overview, I would suggest two sources:
Gas Engineers Handbook, published by Industrial Press, Inc, AGA Catalog Number
H2000
GPSA Engineering Data Book, published by Gas Processors Suppliers Association
Beyond this, a number of vendors have available training materials and courses on their equipment, which will usually be quite equivalent to other manufacturers - in other words, if you learn all about one reciprocating compressor, all others will have similar operating principles.
Beyond this, my company does training on compressor basics and gas processing equipment. But that is getting a bit close to commercialization, and is not in the spirit of this forum.

Hi, Every Body
can any one tell me haw can I have a good knowledge about Gas Compressor
Stations; Design, Operation and Maintenance
If you know a good guide book or a good course in this subject. Please send me
Thank you
