By this time, im sure almost all subscriber is familiar with EDI and the works of J Wachel and C Bates. Not too long ago several articles also appeared in Hydrocarbon Processing dealing with piping vibration problems. Several were prepared by Tony Sofronas former lead engineer from ExxonMobil and the guys from Shell Global Services. However that one that really caught my attention is the article written by the engineers from Reliance Refinery in Jamnagar India entitled An effective method for analyzing piping vibration problems. It appeared in the April 2004 issue. Grab a copy, it's a good one.

Have you guys also downloaded the papers by L C Peng about pipe stress analysis?
