Try ebay, I was able to get a nice 21" Viewsonic G810 Graphic Series CRT monitor for $99 + s/h about 2 months ago. It works great. They are cheap because everyone wants an LCD. Its worth a look.

About a year ago I wrote about my preference for CRT vs. LCD monitors
for CAD use. Guess what?

Both of my "higher-end" Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 920s (CAN $550 each at
the time) have crapped out on me (one two months after the first)
shortly after the warranty expired. This is less than 4 years' use.

My first monitor was a no-name 15" and it survived 7 years.

Naturally, I went looking for replacement CRTs but was surprised that
they are no longer available/very expensive.

Everything is LCD these days, for better or worse.
