I don’t know about Autopipe, but in Caesar you can’t add rotating equipment
in the same way like valves, pipe support etc.You can add the flanges of the
rotating equipment and calculate forces and moments acting on these flanges.
I suppose that will be the same for Autopipe.

Onderwerp: [PipingDesign] PUMP, TURBINE (AUTOPIPE)
Dear All
I am new user of AUTOPIPE, before this i am familiar with CAESAR.
Now i have a problem to add rotating equptment in pipe line using AUTOPIPE, would you please tell me how to add the equpment (because another equptment can be add so easly, such as valves, pipe support, anchor and etc)
Thank you
Regards

To add. Is the support selection proper. Have all the constraints
(surges, pressure thrusts, etc.) taken care while selecting support
locations and type. Stress analysis should come after that.

Not meaning to slander anyone, but everything is OK if the analysis is
done properly. You should go over the work and make sure that the
assumptions mirror reality: Supports not too stiff and located
accurately; line expansion doesn't violate any continuity conditions,
loads statically consistent with assumed support conditions;
calculation model consistent with as built construction.
