Anyone have any experience with high temperature pipe support/insulation pads?
I have a job that is heating natural gas to about 500 degrees (F), for
regenerating a dry bed dehydration unit. I have worked with EZline pipe
supports, clamps and wedge systems, which are variants of fiber reinforced
plastic (FRP), and limited to around 400 degrees. Any one have experience in
steam plants or such - teflon or other materials for lining clamps, or what? I
can try insulating pipe, but then I can't get a good solid retainer/anchor.
Bright ideas?
Thanks
George McKinney
