sorry george, dont understand
everybrand Fig 295 hgr good to 750F ++alloy to 1050F . some brands go
slightly higher.
whats wrong with steel on steel? it only gets tricky on high temp supports
>1200F such as for high press high temp steam and other specialty high temp
stuff.
if you need low friction use polished ss wear / slider plates for really hi temp.
cheers

> Anyone have any experience with high temperature pipe support/insulation
pads? I have a job that is heating natural gas to about 500 degrees (F),
for regenerating a dry bed dehydration unit. I have worked with EZline pipe
supports, clamps and wedge systems, which are variants of fiber reinforced
plastic (FRP), and limited to around 400 degrees. Any one have experience
in steam plants or such - teflon or other materials for lining clamps, or
what? I can try insulating pipe, but then I can't get a good solid
retainer/anchor.
