WRC 107 deals in determining the local stresses at the
outer edge of the reinforcement of the nozzle and then
calculates the stress at the fillet joint of the
nozzle reinforcement with the nozzle pipe. It is more
like evaluating the main shell.
WRC 297 has expanded the stress calculation scope and
calculates and evaluates the stresses of the nozzle
pipe (neck) also. So this will evaluate the main shell
and branch also.
Hope it clarified the issue.
