Wellcome back Paul! Looking forward to the new code of conduct for the forum but my honest suggestion is just to ignore "newbie" like questions. This will save the forum precious time for other important matters

Best Regards,

Adolphus Omodu

Hello All,

Let's hear onlist from moderators and other concerned individuals about how inquiries from newcomers should be managed.

By this I mean a comprehensive "Welcome message" (which includes the rules and tips) for when people join the list and an additional set of suggestions for moderators to use when people post unclear, vague or just plain unanswerable queries.

Please post suggestions in point form with a short justification.

I'll compile all the ideas (after input from the group) and make it into a sort of official guideline.

Paul
