It is unfortunate that email is so flat - sometimes the interpretation
can be different than the intent.
Don't get me wrong - I think it's good to establish boundaries but I also believe this political correctness has gone to hell - some of the questions being asked are ridiculous and as such may deserve ridicule. If you baby people how do they grow - a dose of mockery can be a helpful learning tool. Maybe those that are mocked will think a bit more before they ask the next question - that will be a good thing for them. Engineering is a tough business - better to learn it early.
Personally I am very happy with the international mix of this group - there is no prejudice - questions are asked and answered regardless of nationality. Cultures are different - the best thing may be to just ignore\reject those emails.
