Hey Paul....

thanks for taking it easy on me....I know I already have the reputation of being a commie-pinko-hippie-pop-shrink advocate....(but I'm just trying to keep the love wagon rolling....smile). I gotta say you hit the nail right on the head, and with a sledge hammer. Your comments of overhead, training, and managers, who at one time may have understood the pieces, but no longer, are all images that are burned into my everyday world. I know our company is just know waking up to the idea that there should be a technical career track for those who enjoy what they do; provide technical engineering services. It's not just a world for project managers......the rest of us want to keep a career track too....

anyway....(glad to hear other folks in the same misery soup as me....smile. Maybe this is only true in big companies. Smaller companies have their own issues.....)
