Being an ASME volunteer means I can spend as much time
and money as I can for free in return for a copy of
B31.1 and B31.3... it would be cheaper to buy them but
its a labor of love.
The ASME has a problem right now of dwindling revenue and membership, as work has left the USA for offshore those people have not picked up support of the code efforts.
It will sooner or later become a crisis if the US does not support their own people they will fall back to a 3rd string status...
Watching the History Channels coverage of Rome I can't help but to think history is repeating itsellf again...
