Jack,

What's the matter couldnt the environmental manager, community liason manager, IT manager, human resources manager, social activities manager, project outsourcing consultant manager, financial manager, procurement manager and probity manager all make it to the meeting or was this a lean mean fighting machine?

I was in a kickoff meeting for a company project down in Santa Barbara and I looked around the table and noticed a funny thing with the design team.....we had an electrical engineer, a mechanical engineer, a civil engineer, an architect, a process engineer, a structural engineer......and a project manager, a design manager, a design build implementer (?), a QAQC manager, and a project controls guy.....six designers and five managers! No wonder the project design costs were so much! Man, talk about overhead.... what's a mother to do?
