'Nother take on Managers:
It's the new society/morality/feel good policy! Children have all been raised
and educated with the basic attitude that "everyone's a star"! So once all
these VIP's graduate from high school or college, and go to get a job, there's
no way that they can be given a job as "pencil pointer and gofer". So,
obviously, they need to be "manager in charge of drafting technology
refurbishment" and "retrieval expert".
Just keep thinking about the Marine quote in re their sabers "Earned, never given." Too bad so many people can't understand that respect and credibility are in the same category.

The plethora of MBAs (Mind Blowing Ar...s) had to find employment somewhere.
Bosses get pay packets commensurate with the number of bodies they manage. MBAs
want money. MBAs can only be paid high rates if they have the title "manager" or
"executive'.
