Dear Tom,
I admire your resourcefulness in handling every aspect of your work. All calculations in computer softwares are derived from the books. In fact, I am also making my own "programs" thru Excel in lieu of MS Project & STAAD which I used in our projects. In this sense, I am very confident that I input the exact data apart from the complexities of the expensive softwares in the market today.
As the saying goes "There Are No Simple
Solutions...Only Intelligent Choices."
More power to you.
