Hi,
Hazen Williams with Equivalent charts is acknowledged as being far less accurate
than Darcy and Colebrook White.
I suggest that you download Epanet (freeware) and learn to use that. You can select Hazen Williams or Darcy. It allows you to put in pump curves and model a system. The Likes of Haestads Watercad and Mikenet use the Epanet engine for their very expensive software. Only problem is that you dont get vendor support with Epanet. However there are Forums about the place that allow you to get help when necessary.
If you are unsure about the basics what the hell are you doing being responsible for the design for a fire system? Suppose the place burns down because you get it wrong. You go to jail! The charge culpuble homicide, depraved indifference or what ever the statutes have listed. In some third world countries they could shoot you. And frankly you would be deserving.

You should get, NFPA 14 , or NFPA 31 bulletin.
They have a specific Equivalent Pipe Length Chart , and they use Hazen Williams .

Logic, common sense, etc. ..
Trust your self.
