Check the code you are working under.... just got back from code trivia contest.... should be a SIF of ~2.0 for threaded pipe as I recall (B31.1/B31.3)...

As for the branch connection B31.1/3 do not cover a threadolet per se... but IMHO a weld on SIF for the header would be appropriate....
