Hi All,
Perhaps an optional short paragraph about who you are and what you do would help. Members of the Forum can get a feel of who you are, it provides a bit of advertising for the free lancers and may provide job opportunities for those in the larger conglomerates.
If I came a cross a top flight draughtsman, knowledgeable in the CAd package i used I may say that there is job for two years down under. Most jobs come from poaching or who you know.
Also if I have a need for experience in a particular field I could perhaps contact the person directly if it was more than question and answer for the Forum.
Any one who serves on Standards Committees may want some advice in a matter can have a quick look at the experience and seek it.
For those who belong to the Forum and want to learn its a great way of letting people know to forgive imprecise questions where you dont know where to start. MAYBE with a company name/title - but what if I'm working for myself - I can be the grand imperial poo-bah of the United States Conglomerate, and still have trouble buying a postage stamp! Realize that in some companies, titles have specific, unprinted, attachments - senior engineer means you are supervising x number of peons, etc. But for others, it doesn't mean anything.

(Now, does anyone have any better idea of what I really do/know/control?)
