No big deal--I'm in the same boat. Just do what makes sense so people will know they're sharing details with a colleague and not a competitor. Or getting advice from someone with a financial interest in the outcome. It'll also help identify students so old fårts like me won't be too crabby.

BTW--to any lurkers within range who are considering subscribing on their own. Make sure you fill out a public profile for your Yahoo account. Include your Real Name, your job function in Occupation and company affiliation and city or country in Location. I and the rest of the moderators will be using that profile to determine if you're genuine or a spammer or just a misguided person looking for a spouse with a steady job. If I don't see those three items I'll probably deny your subscription.
