Dear Everyone,
Good day to you and the whole group!
I admire the adoption of existing piping codes for operational safety and downtime trimming due to unscheduled shutdowns resulting from piping system breakdowns.
With the present financial debacle experienced by most if not all countries, I observed that there are so many utilities (even ISO accredited) that do not follow the codes to cut cost yet operate normally.
Though I discourage to adopt the said scheme, I think at this point in time, it is very reasonable to deviate a little bit from the code without sacrificing safety in order for the company to survive against stiff competition and rising operating costs.
