Hmmm...using the BRL-CAD engine perhaps? That's what I'd do if I had a few million R&D bucks, but I'm not Steve.
BRL-CAD is Unix-based (so I assume that 64 bitness is a given). It is open source, so no licensing issues. It has been used by the US army for tank design and ballistics modelling, so there is no lack of credibility there.
