it usually depends on the allowable pressure drop allowed.generally one size less is appopriate. discuss with process guys. happy new year to you too

I am working for GASCO Project. We are using Reduced port ball valves for hydrocarbon gas service.My query is...Is there any guidelines to select the second size of the reduced port ball valve ? There is no guidelines given in the project specification.
