Piping codes and standards

Hi All,
This is my first msg. in this group.

I have just entered in the field of Piping Design, and presently doing Plant Design System(PDS) course.Here i am studing equipment modelling, Piping Layouts drawing, isometric manager for oil and gas plants. let me know the what are companies recruiting the PDS designers in india.

Also I want to know the details about Piping specification,codes and standards,design considerating of piping for oil and gas, pipe fittings,valves and their types, functions, etc..

what is the responsibility of punch list co ordinator and Document controller?

  If anyone can tell me about this, or refer me any good site or link, it will be very helpful to me..
