Ed, i think the gentlemen query is for the minimum lenght of pup piece
that can be welded. Like youre having a welded valve and welded neck
flange and in between you wanted to find out what is the minimum
lenght of pipe that can be fitted. The issue of interest here is the
haz and not constructability.
