Yeah Paul.. I've worked for three different companies and probably 30- 40 different pipers and I think 2/3 of them (easily) got a copy of the NAVCO. The other 1/3 either got so much OTHER reference material, including the handbook/guide that they just feel they got anything covered in NAVCO covered elsewhere. Or else they'd just as soon borrow a copy if need be. Even our process engineer has a copy of NAVCO.
You could very well be right, that the guide or the handbook may just cover a lot of what NAVCO has, which is why I'm now trying to scarf up a copy that someone may not want, as opposed to going out and shelling out $50 for a box that may contain a little new info and a lot of redundant info. It's gradually gotten less and less critical for me to get NAVCO, but I'll definitely still take one if I can round up a good used one somewhere.
I guess since I'm in my first years of piping, I'd like to collect as much reference as possible. Received on Fri Jan 12 06:05:00 2007
