RE: Who are you

Well, I normally just use my auto signature on my e-mail since I have switched to using my work e-mail. But when I submit a mass post I normally remove my phone/fax numbers, but when I reply to an individual I normally leave as is. My auto sig contains my full name, what department I work in and company name. Location is Pittsburgh, PA, but that's info that's known to our customers, but maybe when I remove my numbers, I'll replace them with location.

As for the people that don't have the information down there, I DO like seeing it. at least something.. so this way I know what level of designer/engineer I'm hearing from.

As for me, I'm about as entry-level as you can get. 2 weeks will be one year to the day I've been a piping designer.

Subject: [PipingDesign] Who are you

It would be nice if members would append their information to each post. I.E., corporate affiliation, job, location, area of piping (refining, chem, water, pipeline, etc.) so that readers can get a better grasp of who they are communicating with.

This is not a requirement for being a member.
