1- nobody cares - Not true: I read all your emails/replies because most of the times they are good. Don't be like my wife expecting a pat on the back every time you say something

I disagree with her.
7- my comments are actually irrelevant – See #2 8- fear of appearing to be ignorant – The opposite of what my wife think, now I know you are a man
9- readers already knew that anyway – Only if they are like my wife

   The above prove that at least Elie reads your emails, not because I am interested in what you write; just to stay away from my wife (kidding).

I really don't know why I put that appeal in my replies to the list, as there are almost never any followups to my comments.

There are a few possible reasons for this:

• nobody cares
• I'm just talking to myself anyway
• readers assume I know everything
