If the chlorine (as in all forms) will all stay INSIDE the pipe, then there is no need to use coatings or exotic metals for supports or fittings. If there are sources of leaks (pump seals, open tanks, agitator seals, etc.), then, because chlorine/chlorides are very corrosive, that must be taken into consideration. I would still consider using painted or galvanized carbon steel, unless there is potential for liquid leakages.

Hello Everybody,
Presently I am working on a Sodium Hypochloride service line. As I know
that
we because of the stress corrosion cracking we cannot use Austinite Steel
for this service, line size is 1" to 1 1/2", we planned to use stainless
steel support and with U bolt. Please guide me whether this support
require
any coating like titanium including U bolt please explain me this.
