Expansion joints

I had read the B31.3 and i know that it is possible to use expansion joint at fluid service D and is not possible to use in high pressure piping.However the code doesn´t speaks about the use of expansion joints on fluid service category M .

   It means that i may use expansion joint but would be better to avoid it?
