Juan,

I notice you are answering almost all postings.

Item 1 : It is true, compression fittings and victaulic fittings have threaded connections available.

             If specs calls for no threads, then use the other. People can read between the lines.

Item 2 : I don't know what your general practice is. Must not be in construction. When Project Piping Specs call

             for 3000 lbs threaded fittings, you don't use any lower ratings, just because you feel you can justify it.

Item 2. Why use a higher rating if lower one will do just fine. Note that this will be applied many times over. Using a component that far exceeds your requirement cost money and if done many times over, well thats a lot of money.
