Have you check wether GRP or FRP beeing used for HC service. GRP/FRP
Plpiping is normaly used for Sea Water, cooling water or plant water
service.
HC can react with resin or base material. for more info you can check
ASTM D2996, AWWA C205 and AWWA M45 or M23 for GRP / Plastic piping
