All of the books I ordered from amazon.com, some (not all) of the Titles you can
view the I mentioned you can view the table of contents of the books.
Here are some information I can offer regarding the 4 references I mentioned
earlier.
1. Oil and Gas Pipe Stressing Manual by Valentim,Eduardo B.C.
This book will introduce the reader to practical approach in solving Pipe
Stress. The book contains lots of NOMOGRAPHS, TABLES,and guidelines on how to
use it. there are also solved problems in most of the topics. Primarily using
rule of thumb layout design procedure and preanalyzed piping layout data in
tabular form.
2. Design of Piping Systems by M. W. Kellogg Company
The book is devoted to the study of expansion stresses and reactions in piping
system. It contains comprehensive analytical method for evaluating the stresses,
reactions and deflections in an irregular piping system in space unlimited as to
the character, location or number of concentrated loadings or restrains. Very
useful in high temperature and pressure service application.
3. Introduction to Pipe Stress Analysis by Kannappan, Sam.
It's a practical approach to analytical piping design. This book is intended for
beginners in piping design. The topic presentation are so easy to understand.
Solved problems are included to assist the reader in understanding the
principles discussed. It contains many illustrations, code equations, tables and
examples.
4. Piping stress calculations simplified, by Spielvogel, Siegfried Werner.
This is a classic book which will introduce the reader to the SIMPLIFIED
Analysis Method in calculating expansion stresses in different piping
configurations such as "U" loop, "L" shape, "Z" shape.
