Theree are many ISO standards for PE. e.g. ISO 15494 Plastics piping systems for industrial applications — Polybutene (PB), polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) — Specifications for components and the system ¯ Metric series

There are others that cover the gas industry.
